Problems with some misanthropists
Some misanthropists seem to lack self-awareness of their own hypocrisy.
The two main gripes I hear from them are about humans being selfish and stupid.
Sometimes, misanthropists who complain about the selfishness of others are upset because other people are inconsiderate of them and their desires.
So what? Just go after what you want by yourself.
"Nobody cares about me, so I won't care about anyone else."
That logic is just perpetuating the circle of behaviors that those misanthropists complain about.
I actually do believe that all humans are stupid and selfish at least a little bit, of course, that includes me.
As much as I try to be open-minded and introspective, my perspective will always be flawed, and some hypocrisy is inevitable.
"All that I know is that I know nothing." - Socrates. I find that statement to be somewhat extreme, but he made a very honest point.
All that being said, I don't like humanity myself. If I could press a button to make the entire human race disappear forever, I'd likely press it.
However, I don't feel strong hatred towards us. Humans have made a lot of cool things like technology and art, but we're so incredibly flawed.
SUMMARY:
My main point here was to just call out the haughty misanthropists who act as if they're on a higher plane of existence and enlightenment than the rest of humanity, all the while succumbing to their own sinful human nature.
