Question for the people in psychology field

This is a question to the people who know the psychology field-
How are these types of self expression perceived? Like will me having piercings/ tattoos / colored hair lead to a bad rapport? Or does it not matter at all?

edit- felt like being more specific, i'm asking if i have the mentioned then would it be count as a con for me if i intend to work there ?

    It depends on who sees you. Attitudes about appropriate appearance vary greatly, especially from rural to urban areas. If you find people avoiding you, and you suspect it might be because of your appearance, either move or consider changing if fitting in means that much to you. If not, live with it.

        I'm actually a little confused now. Do you mean how patients or subjects would view you? Or colleagues at the office?

            Well the thing is you're going to where people learn about the mind. Acting out in that environment would be like some kind of social suicide. There is some level of gatekeeping though, but in traditional medicine for example that's being dismantled.
