Random cuts appearing on hands and fingers

My hands are full of cuts that just appear randomly, theyre like small paper cuts. Also the skin is purple and cracked. The whole cracked dry skin area is full of painful cuts. I have tried hand cream and other stuff but nothing works, any ideas?

Sounds like splits in the skin rather than actual cuts. You need to see a doctor or at least a pharmacist: this obviously needs more than just hand cream and you probably have some sort of skin infection.

My girlfriend has this. She gets a steroid cream to help healing. Still never found out a name for it.

My partner and mom have the same problem. They get this when the weather gets dry and cold (it's called winter hands). It's very common. I don't know if you always have this and how the weather is where you're at?

    I guess it's the same thing then. It's important to keep moisturizing your hands, especially before there's anything wrong with your skin. That way you'll prevent your skin from cracking.

      I also have hyperhydrosis or however you spell this, schoolyears were a pain for me. When my hands get sweaty during winter they start itching badly, especially the cracked skin area
