Oh man I remember in my day it was the thing to do at house parties. I grew up in NH, we didn't have a lot shit to do. Lol. But there was always freestyle battles going on somewhere around the house. For some white kids from New Hampshire they weren't half bad. Rap hasn't lost any popularity since then so I imagine it's still a pretty normal thing.
