Read receipts

Is it normal to be annoyed if a user always requests a read receipt with every single message they send out. Even the ones that are not important. "The sender of this message has requested a read receipt. Click here to send a receipt." Why would you want a read receipt for every single message? I think only important messages should have read receipts.

    Some people have their emails setup to receive a read receipt for every email so they dont have to request it. In the business I am in every email cis discoverable legally so you really have to.
