Really ugly people make me feel sick

Sounds to me like you are very shallow, and judgmental. I think you need to look in a mirror and take a really hard focus on not just your outside appearance but also your inside beauty or lack thereof. Remember beauty is not always skin deep.

Being attracted to healthier people is an evolutionary trait. Basically, our race does it to keep from dying out. Biologically, our bodies want to find the healthiest and even most fertile mate to have babies with - it's not a choice, it's in our DNA. Someone who is considered "ugly" could have multiple health issues. For example, bad skin means a bad immune system and obesity signals other health defects, whereas a womanly figure indicates being fertile and healthy. When we mate with the pretty/healthy, we carry on these traits to future generations. We are wired to be attracted to the pretty, for our own race's sake!

Define 'ugly.' That's a relative term. I used to think lots of people were ugly when I was a kid, but nowadays I notice 'ugly' people less and less. Maybe it's because physical appearance doesn't really mean jack shit. If it really bothers you that much, then obviously you have a problem with it, so why don't you go up to someone you think is so 'ugly;' one of the ugliest you can find. Someone who makes you want to vomit. Start a conversation with him/her. Talk about some random topic you think is interesting. If you chicken out, go up to some other 'ugly' person later and try again. Keep having talks with 'ugly' people, and I think you'll find that the fact that they're 'ugly' doesn't really factor that much into the equation for them as much as it does for you... :D

Most of the time I'd say you're just a deusche but I have come across some people that are just so fucking ugly that I also feel like throwing up. But I'm pretty sure there was something wrong with them or something. Something just wasn't right there.

You must have a really hard time. It's not human nature to be judgmental, however that has warped in the past 100 years. People may not be as attractive to you as others, so therefore you hate them, or "throw up"? I recommend you see a counselor.

I know exactly how you feel! I am the exact same way!! I thought I was alone. I actually have been sick because of it. I get really bad anxiety, and feel like I'm fixing to have a panic attack. All you people being mean, are probably the people were talking about, so stfu with your hateful mouths! I'm a nice person, sure their are people nicer than I am, but I try not to judge people, I help others as much as I possibly can. Iim not a shallow person. It's not anything I can help. It's not about me thinking I'm more attractive then they are either. Ifor me, I don't know exactly what it is,.. It's not that they are just an ugly person. I've seen really really ugly people before, but yet sometimes someone who isn't even half as bad comes along, I start gagging. It doesn't really have anything to do with looks. Now the hygiene thing could possibly be it, but hobos don't make me gag either. the "ugly" people that make me feel sick arent even really that ugly, but I don't know what else to call them. The word is right, but the way people are defining it isn't. I wish I knew what it was though, but I don't. I googled it, to see if something was wrong with me, and to see what others had to say, and after I read this, I just had to comment. But there is also a possibility that it's not even something we can actually see.

Yes, you're fucked up. I think its one thing to be turned off by an unnattractive person or upset by someone who is homeless because of a mix of pity and fear. However; to be so obsessed with looks that one unnattractive person makes you want to "puke" that is not normal. Sorry.

I think there's beauty in most people..I haven't seen too many ugly people..and I've been all over the united states. Are u in the uk? I heard people are less attractive there. No offense to anyone.
