Reciting homework in sleep (mind racing)

I'm an undergraduate student on the pre-medical track, Im in class 30 hours a week; study about 4-5 hours a day during the week and 8-12 hours on the weekend. When I go to sleep sometimes I wake up and catch myself reciting physics equations, organic chemistry equations or trying to write a paper. I feel like my body never relaxed I'm always stressed and want to be perfect. I've been sick 5 times this semester. I don't want to take care of myself, other then shower the bare minimum. At the end of the day I don't even have enough energy to put pajamas on so I just sleep naked. At the back of my mind is always the stress of the Mcat I'll be studying for this summer and getting into med school. I don't have any friends I eat alone every day.

It sounds like you're running yourself into the ground. I know when you've got so much on your plate it's hard to find time to relax but you have GOT to. You're already making yourself sick and you're going to make yourself crazy. I\Plus, if you keep going like you're going your grades are going to suffer along with you. Honestly! I'm sure you've been told, but perfection is literally unachievable. Chasing it is only going to hurt you.

Personally, I'd cut out just a few of those weekend study hours, especially before bed, and use them to focus on myself. Do something just for you, doesn't matter what. A hot bath, playing a video game, going for a walk, or just like, taking a nap. Whatever! It'll help cleanse your pallet, so to speak, so that you're not constantly thinking about work.
