Reddit is mostly trash

Most redditors are losers, incels, creeps, and just general scum. With subreddits like subreddits dedicated to illegally obtaining nudes of celebrities, r/beatingwomen, r/braincels which promoted rape, r/creepshots, r/blackpeopletwitter who only let black people post and require you to take a picture of your arm to prove you are black and spread hate against the whites, as well as subreddits that do the other way around, r/femaledatingstrategy who spread the narrative that men can't be sexually abused, mass doxxing, the list goes on and on and on. And any semblance of nuanced or civil conversation? Fuuuck no.

    The "nice" places on reddit still get dragged into the cesspool every so often. It literally makes no difference at all what the content of the subreddit is supposed to be dedicated to or what the rules are--every single sub inevitably has those dumpster fire posts that devolve into angry political dick waggling. Usually multiple times a week

    I think it can be dependent on the sub, though all of them have their fair share of toxicity (though that can be said about the Internet as a whole). Some of the people on there definitely get their panties in a wad over the smallest things.

    It's interesting that R/WhitePeopleTwitter is just people being racist to white people, while R/BlackPeopleTwitter is also people being racist to white people. Though, if I had to pick one, R/BlackPeopleTwitter is better; at least they're actually funny on rare occasions.
