For some reason, whenever i see a retarded person, it enrages me, i find them extremely annoying. I dont want to be pissed. I know they cant help it, it makes me feel like an a**hole, but i cant help it.

Honestly, I don't like them either. Especially Downs Syndrome kids. Some people seem to think that retarded people are god's innocent little children and a gift to the world. But honestly, they aren't innocent. A lot of them know that they're different and that they can get away with things others can't, and they take advantage of that. Although I am pro choice I don't believe in abortion as a former of birth control nor do I believe in late term abortion. That being said if I discovered that my unborn child had down syndrome or any other serious defect I would absolutely choose to terminate the pregnancy. They actually can get married and have kids. You arent allowed to prevent them even if they live in group homes from having sex and making more babies. I worked in a lot of bowling centers and most of those places have some kind of deal with local group homes where they get cheap stuff. Lots of these people would have babies they couldnt take care of that were more retarted than they were and theres nothing stopping them from having 50 kids if they want cause its discrimination.

i feel that u shouldn't say anything until u know the situation... i have a little brother with down syndrome and he is the biggest blessing that we have ever received he is very well behaved and would never do anything that any of u said people wit down syndrome do.. most of the things that some them have maybe done is probably because of their ignorant parent or because they didn't get enough therapy its not their fault so u should learn to respect them..

Yeah, it's normal. Though the thing that pisses me off the most is that I'm suffering from moderate depression and when I try to find work, nobody wants to hire me because the news has everyone afraid I might go postal someday. Just because you are considered a retard doesn't mean you have down syndrome, all of my cousins are considered retarded and it's because their mother never made them do their school work or tutor them at home so they are failing all of their classes in school. Whether you are born with down syndrome or raised retarded, it shouldn't be allowed. Period. Being raised retarded can be avoided, with proper parenting. If you have a job and contribute to society, good for you, we aren't talking about you. We are talking about people who use their disability as an excuse to have no filter for their dirty minds and mouths, and to be lazy and have poor hygiene.
It sounds like you don't want to be pissed off. People shouldn't be judged for their emotions as if it could be wrong to have an emotion. As long as you respect that they are people too and have their rights there's nothing wrong with feeling like that. Personally I've only met a few "retarded" people in my life. Rarely have they pissed me off and I know one who's the brother of two of my friends whose very nice, but there was this one kid in middle school who would just go up to random people including me and punch them in the arm. There was also this one kid in a wheelchair who would run over people's toes.
