Rota day off

Hi, just wondering if anyone else feels this. I see my rota weekly and this week noticed that I had 3 days off in a row, not arguing with that, I imagine that many would love that. But on the first day off, because I work certain hours, I felt guilty that I wasn't getting ready and going to work, yes I know weird. I have been there since mid April and have only been off sick once, but otherwise I have worked all the shifts given to me. I always put 110% in at work, it's in my nature. So why do I feel guilt for not being at work, when I am on a day off.

    Yes, it is perfectly normal to feel awkward in the absence of work. The idle mind is bad for the spirit, people shouldn't feel good taking long breaks. But it sounds like you should have a hobby. Something to do around the house or learn to play an instrument.

    Because you're used to routine. Just be glad its only 3 days. Once I had 5 days In a row
