I'll let you know after I've discussed it with the voices in my head.

I've known a few people with schizophrenia and also some with bi polar and none of them were axe murderers. I have found bi polar people in the manic phase quite tiring, but then in the past I've tried to keep up with them, which is quite exhausting.

People with these conditions do take a bit of energy to relate to but I've often found them to be very interesting and creative

Thank you! I suffer from such a disease. Someone recently told me not to "kill someone" if I got mad. I would never hurt a living thing and was offended and worried. The positive responses have made my day.

What? How ignorant, I'm sorry you had anyone say that to you. Don't waste energy on fuckwits and I'm glad if I helped

    • I knew a guy in my schiz support group who turned out to become an axe murder. He was otherwise a nice guy though.

That proves exactly nothing. How many people were in that group, including yourself, who did NOT turn out to be axe murderers?

        • I'm not trying to prove anything. Just sharing something that happened. The guy used to come over to my house to hangout. He ended up killing his dad with a hatchet. I know most mentally ill people are non violent but brought it up because axe murders were mentioned.

Was he diagnosed and taking meds? I've never met a dangerous sz. Did you know he had it at the time???

            • He was diagnosed. Not sure if he took his meds. I'm diagnosed with schizoaffective and aspergers and adhd. I knew him from support group and we became friends. His violence was caused by delusional thoughts that his dad was an evil clone who was killing children. Jon was actually a really nice person who cared about others, but his delusions caused him to do that. Very sad situation.

Dude. THose places are worse than hell. Did you know people with sz are 14 times more likely to become the victims of violent crimes than actually cause them. Probably people like you cause them more.
