Ive been struggling with my sex addiction lately. Sometimes its all i can think about and i think about the people i could contact for sex but i know that it would be in a selfish and self seeking way. Are their any sex addicts in recovery that have a few words of wisdom. Please be kind.
I’m not a sex addict, I’ve always had a pretty average sex drive, but I’ve been through a loooot of mood balancing therapy as I used to be a pretty manic hothead.
The key is to stay busy, relaxation is a reward. Relaxing after having worked will make your rest periods “busy” with repairing and resetting. Resting while your engine is still full will just make you antsy and want to find ways to feel something.
If you believe that you would benefit from help, reach out to a professional. I promise you that finding the right therapist is life changing. It can take a few tries to find a good match, so do not become discouraged immediately.
Porn will rot you. We are simpler creatures than most like to think, if you pair doing something (having/consuming sex) with something that feels good (big endorphin release of getting off) you will become addicted.

It's not unusual to have a over active sex drive just talk with someone that understands it like a sexologist
I used to be but someone thought I loved him after we fucked once. He even beat me up and acted insane because I slept with other people and thank God I'm not around him anymore. After him I seriously never had sex for close to a year
