She's recently developed an attachment to a "blanket", she's 14?

She carrys this soft black top around in her bag and I've noticed her rubbing it against her face or finger when she's asleep. It's a new thing too, she hasnt had it since a baby. I asked her why and she said it's comforting. It's been going on for about two months now. She's 14, IIN? Shall I do or say anything? Is anything wrong? Shall I take it away? Advice or any comment will be very appreciated.

has anyone died recently? moved away? it probably belongs to that person. she may do this because its hard for her to let go. give her some time and talk her through it. be there for her AT ALL TIMES to help her. she may get over it.

It is unrashonal to take it away my little sister is aatached to a "blanky" and our mum attempted to take it away and it wasn't fair looking back on it she was traumatised so really if you can live witht the guilt go for it but the child has the memory of a godess treat her like it

Its not a boyfriends. Shes gotten close to her aunt, AND HUGS HER ALL THE TIME. I'm kind of jealous, her aunt always gets this loving affection from her.
