Should i add seasoning?

Hey guys I know this is nor the best place but I don't really have anyone I can ask. I'm doing a marinade on pulled pork for the first time. In a 7 hours I'll be throwing it in the slow cooker overnight.

My question is that I can't find awnsers for online is should I add some seasoning before throwing it in to cook? I got some that I think will pair really well but I'm totally new to marinating and not certain how to proceed, please advise

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I'd need more information to really help you out. What do you have? Still, I can already tell you that yes, you should put the seasoning in with it, and also watch out for not letting it dry out.

Oh sorry, it's a pork butt, like 6lbs I think, I marinated in beer, garlic and soy sauce for 24 hours. Ended up throwing it in alowcooker with a generous amount of seasoning and garlic while resting in fresh beef broth
