Should i always wear sunglasses?

So all my life I've lived in a real dark place. I've grown up with grey skies, that's what my eyes are used to by now.

My girl and I are planning on moving to this state with a lot of sun, it'll obviously be a big change. She actually landed there the other day and the light's really been screwing with her vision.

I get that I'll have to wear sunglasses for a while, but how long? Will I always have to wear them? How do I manage to get used to it?
