    Flowers are an expression of appreciation. You don't know if you appreciate her if you have never met her. Flowers on the first date might send the message that you're just happy that somebody - anybody - agreed to date you (and not that you're just happy *she* agreed to date you).

    Don't do it. You'll humiliate yourself. I'm not big on bringing flowers ever. I find it cheesy.
