do you think metal bands glorify war or highlight its horrors. It can definetly talks about violence from the perspective of someone killingas though glorifying it is this good or bad. as it can have double connotations
You should clarify this question a little but, in my opinion, they don't glorify it at all. If anything, it might be you glorifying it because you're choosing which band(s) to listen to. Find songs with a different topic and you'll find that your thoughts would change too.
ok i was a singer for a metal band and we sung songs about war often depicting violence, but one of the lyrics was "sing songs of war, we will stand tall the battle axe that we swing shall bring justice to all" I didnt write that and I changed the working title from sing songs of war to in times of war
