Should i take up bowling

So I'm considering taking up bowling as a hobby.

I went with a few work colleagues the other day, and one of them who used to play in a minor league was extremely impressed by me. We had 3 games and I got scores of 178, 180 and 201.

But I'll never become pro and I think it could be a waste of time

If you enjoy it do it, if you don't then don't. What's so hard about that?

If it's fun I say go for it. Sounds like you have a natural knack for it. Also, those rented shoes are awesome.

I used to bowel. I even joined a junior league at one point. I really wasn't that bad but, it got to the point were I literally was unable to handle the stress. The situation was very stressful for a number of reasons: my grandmother was very controlling. We practiced too fucking much and it got to the point where I started to lose interest and hate the sport. She put too much expectations and stress onto me. I would worry about making a mistake because I didn't want to criticized in front of everyone. I also was extremely insecure of my talent. It got to a point where emotionally, I could no longer keep myself together. I would literally cry in public. I think the final time I cried was the last time I ever came back and I was allowed to quit.

If you want to take this up because, you truly enjoy it, then go right ahead. It certainly isn't for everyone, but then again, most sports aren't. I don't know how you react when in stressful situations so, always try to stay mindful and on your toes about things like that. Don't compare yourself to others. Try to relax and have fun. Meditation could even help with that. Good luck.

Why would I use that example when looking for a mate? I used a personal example to correlate with my experience in bowling.
