Yeah, meth, cocaine, heroin, fentanyl all should be illegal still. These drugs fuck you up (social, physical, mental) in a way shorter timeframe than alcohol and weed would. Everyone knows drugs are bad. Making it illegal just discourages those who are curious.

Yes I am. I'm not a pure libertarian, goverment should be minimized and provide basic functions. Drugs like that are that destructive deserve to be illegal. I'm not the Libertarians that want to he hippies in the woods.

Interesting take. Hippies in the woods just smoke weed, as they should be allowed to.
I think the government should get away from all of their arbitrary declarations of drugs being dangerous and people should be free to research. Junkies will exist regardless whether drugs are criminalized or not.

Wow I'm surprised a number of people so far voted for medical use only. It's going to become legal inevitably in my opinion and it's safer than some things that are legal but the stench that I'm Not looking forward to, but yes I think it should be legal to all adults

If marijuana was legalized a lot of people would start growing and then the prices would go down (legalized for the general public as well as medical)
Even if it was to be legalized there should be laws to prevent widespread fk ups eg not driving or working etc. under the influence... like alcohol pretty much 🤷🏼♀️

I used to be in favor of legalization. However, the number of car accidents has increased in the states where it has already been legalized. For that reason I say it should be illegal except for medical usage.

I dont care.
Seems so common that people smoke it and its better than chemical drugs though it can lead some people to try harder drugs. Thats their problem though, dont really give a damn how others choose to mess up their own lives and health.
I guess it would be good in the sense that no one would get punished for smoking it. I dont think punishment helps, help should be given instead. For hard drugs at least.Comment Hidden ( show ) -

Need to have a testing system like they do for alcohol. Too many jobs much less driving that involves critical decisions. But testing is not accurate enough to tell if you did it last night, 4 hrs, 8hrs, ago or really how much or potancy of what you had.
I don't want a surgeon or pilot who is high but careers shouldn't be banned from enjoying a little weed if enough time has passed same as alcohol.
