Should people who take videos "portrait " be pàinfully executed in public?

Is it normal that people take videos in the portrait format, hold the phone upright? Who are these people? Have they not seen the results? Are they simple? Have they ever seen a t.v. or cinema screen?
I believe that they deserve a slow painful public execution? Àm I normal to be so passionate on this subject?

    There are many worse people. Like people that fucking snap at restaurant workers to get their attention especially when I'm clearly busy with another table. I HAVE A NAME TAG FOR A REASON. OH MY GOD I HATE THIS SO MUCH. IF YOU DO THIS PLEASE NEVER GO TO A RESTAURANT AGAIN.
