Should theme parks like Disney and Universal increase their seat sizes on rides to accommodate larger people? Let's say a man is 300 pounds 5'9 he isn't likely to fit on some rides. Should they increase ride size to accommodate larger people?

If you want more seat room got to pay for it.

No one is forcing you to eat cookies. Eat some lettuce.

If airlines offered 60$, sit in a fetal position for 5 hours. I'd buy that spot.

    I don't know, Other.

When it comes to roller coasters, I'm not against them increasing seat sizes, but these people are heavy, which can make a big difference for how delicate those rides are. I don't know if simply making the seat wider is going to get the job done unless the ride was created with them in mind from the get-go.

There's also the matter of the accommodating regular people, since thin-to-average sized people won't be comfortable in a seat that can accommodate a 300-pounder.

What they would probably end up doing is having a small section on the rides for the "fluffier" among us. Either that or build whole new rides.

Increasing seat sizes is the right thing to do.

More profit... When you run a business, you want to include as many people as possible. Then the good press comes automatically.

Costs them more to redesign all new seats not enough 300+ pound people to make profit

With the food they’re feeding visitors, they’re not in a position to make moral judgements. I would say accommodate the fatties since they buy more theme park food.

It depends on what makes the company more money I suppose.

I have never seen a non-fat adult in any Disney Park video I’ve ever seen, so it would make sense

Sure but they still fit. Op means morbidly obese.
