aw, sorry to hear that. it sounds like she was poisoned. or she could've been old. some breeds have shorter life spans than others.

The symptoms you described sound like it could have been rabies (hydrophobia, distemper, liver failure, leptosporosis or possibly poisoning. It's impossible to know for sure without knowing her other symptoms.Did she have sores in her mouth? Was she having trouble breathing? How long was she ill before she passed away?

At any rate, I am sorry for your lost. It really sucks to lose a friend. I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

    :(

Last June my cousins puppy mysteriously passed away from a strange illness that the vet couldn't even really pinpoint what it was. It really came out of the blue. It's scary because their was no warning signs, until like a couple weeks before her death. And she was just so young, so it made it that much more heart breaking and that much more odd. :(

I'm really sorry about your dog. And I've had to put one of my dogs down before, and it is really sad. I know how you feel. I'm really sorry. Maybe you could ask a vet. However, I did just look under google, and someone asked something similar about the green tongue, but their dog just had a spot of green. One of the expert answers was that, "Could be an infection from an irritation of using the dental bones.
Bacteria or fungal infections can have a green tinge to them so its worth checking out just in case!"

Maybe you should have taken the dog to a vet?

Not everyone has the money to take a dog to the vet, or in the case of a minor, perhaps the parents would not take the dog to the vet. Stop judging others!

IF YOU COULD NOT AFFORD TO TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THE VET, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT OWN A PET, WOULD YOU HAVE A BABY AND NOT TAKE IT TO THE DR?

We are a very fortunate family and we DID take her to a vet and she said it was probably genetic but we cant be to sure then they wanted to put her through tons of surgeries!! I would not do that.
