Singing myself into songs, is it normal?

I often sing along to the radio while I work, and I have this little habit if singing myself into songs. Eg. Say my names is Jimmy. B52's song loveshack, I'd sing "LOVESHACK JIMMY!"
Substituting baby for jimmy.
Is that normal? Does anyone else do it?

    Get your hands off Jimmy!... Don't touch Jimmy!...

    Everyone was really talking about themselves in the third person.

    My friend's voicemail greeting at one point (it might still be; I don't know) was the Banana Phone song, except banana was replaced with Shannon's (his name).
