Skyrim crashing every few min

I bought this game (Skyrim) a year or two ago, I've spent countless hours on it & I love it. It has always has a little crashing problem, every few hours (I assumed it was because of xbox overheating). But now it is crashing every 3-10 minutes. I've progressed really far& don't want to make a new game. I've tried clearing system cache, clearing game cash, downloading the game(off the disk), and cursing at the consol. What should I do. Feel free to leave comments with advice.

Make a new game 3
Do nothing & quit game 5
Try tech-y advice I leave 12

    I like poon jabber's idea about the mile high club for rim jobs better. that sounds like a lot more fun!

    This happens to me too, but only when I play on my profile on my boyfriends xbox, but when he plays on his profile the game doesn't freeze. Sometimes it happens a lot, sometimes not at all. I asked my boyfriend what the issue might be and he said something about the fact that his profile has all the downloaded patches or something? I'm not 100% sure, he's a lot more xbox intelligent than I am, but that's what he said. Have you downloaded the patches? I think patches are meant to fix glitches and stuff like that, give that a try. I also thought it might be my save being over a certain amount of hours but my boyfriend has been playing way longer than I have and we both don't really make a point of deleting previous saves so try downloading the patches and see what happens. Hope it works, Skyrim is the best fucking game ever! That and Darksouls II black armour addition. GOOD GOD.

    This happened to me a few weeks ago (I play the computer version) and I advice you load a save instead of continuing. That worked for me, maybe it does for you.

    Install it on your hard drive and turn off your autosaves. Bethesda is known for releasing glitched and unfinished games. Save often.

    This used to happen a lot with my game then went away, then came back, then for the most part went away and freezes once in a while. Did you purchase any of the DLCs? I assume that may be why, however I am not too sure, all I know is that it started around that point for me.

    But that ain't going to stop me from rocking a thief/assassin Nord or a magic weidling HIgh Elf vampire from kicking ass! ;)

    If your save is over 140 hours then it's a known glitch, play testers didn't play for that long, delete any extra saves or autosaves you don't use and if it's still happening you'll have to start a new save
