Snowboarding vs skiing

So, is skiing or skateboarding the best? I made an 'other' option just in case.

    For me - neither.
    Broke my leg, while skiing about 6-7 years ago

    But I'd be happy to drive about in a snowmobile or do 360s and drifts in the snowy carpark XD

    I'm gonna say skiing and I would just like to mention that the vikings believed that it was invented by the snowshoe godess Skadi, and that is where we get the name of skiing. So there's that.

    They didn't have snow boarding when I was skiing. I wish they had, it seems to be a lot more fun.

        I probably would. I haven't skated since I was 11. Its a damn shame. I'd look smokin hot boardin around town, feathers flowing behind me so gracefully in the breeze. For such reasons i'd like to start surfing. Ya that's right. Who doesn't like a wet bird?

          Most of the girls and guys here take surfing really seriously for reasons unknown to me. I am boring and prefer paddle boarding. I am kind of terrified of the dolphin pods and sand sharks.

            What makes you think you are safer on a paddle board than a surf board, from sharks? Get a grip. You move well down the food chain when you go out there at all, so get over your fears or quit.

              You do not wipe out nearly as much on a paddle board. I still go out sometimes despite my fears. I fear disturbing a huge pod of dolphins rather than just one shark. Dolphins have been known to drown people.
