Hey, it’s me GeekyGold, a little user here. I just wanted to ask you guys how 2020 is treating the places you live and you. In nyc things are getting worse, crime wise. I got an app called Citizen, I don’t know if any of you guys have or know of it. But the app basically sends me notifications and locations of reported crimes. Yeah well the last two or three months crime when up by a lot. I keep getting notifications of shootings, robberies, people walking around with weapons, fights, and so on. It’s been bad, especially in my neighborhood. Anyone else experiencing this where they are? And how are you guys holding up as the world burns?

        In a large part. The crime rate in London is soaring due to the black population. Over 50% of violent crime, back when there was just a 10% black population, was committed by them. Now the black population has risen even more, and so has crime.

        It's not just that though, we've failed to keep even a replacement level fertility rate and we've had plummeting IQs since the between the 70s and 90s depending on the country.

    I'm from NYC.. I don't live there anymore as my family moved us all up to Canada at age 13, but I can imagine that the crime has gotten worse since COVID. It was pretty bad when I was a kid (the 90s)

    Eh- it should go back to normal...

      Oh yeah it heard it was bad. I’m a 90s baby but I was born in the late 90s so I don’t remember anything but my father told me about the 80s and 90s. Apparently it was bad. The cops were corrupt and didn’t do their job properly so nyc was more dangerous. It’s a big reason why my aunts and uncles are gangster as fuck.

    I haven’t been up to the city in a while, round here there seem to be more delinquent kids than normal even now schools are back.

    Yesterday I saw a track-suited youth swaying and lumbering around who I was 89% sure had a syringe in his hand in broad daylight. I stayed the hell away.

    VA, there was protests in the city I work in demanding that the polices records get released. Which I can get behind. And then the other city there’s a confederate statue that got vandalized with protests and such to have it removed. The damn protesters pulled down one of the soldiers on it, and it fell on another protesters head. Dummies. I think it should be moved bc it’s literally in the middle of an intersection and it’s hazardous as fuck.

    As for guns, it’s pretty fucking normal for people to carry. Shit, I’ve got a shotgun in the trunk.

    Keeping track of the crime rate would stress me out so much lol. I'm sure it's normal for it to spike during certain months. I wouldn't be surprised if 2020 set a record for the most criminal activity in the US.
