Social research

Is it normal that I rationalize the obscene amounts of time I spend browsing Facebook as "social research"? Almost everyday I see someone around my university's campus that I've never met, yet I know something about them (name, age, etc.) due to having viewed their profile (in some cases multiple times) on Facebook.

You need a prostitute to jack your dumbass off and get your mind on other things.

Noooo. People's facebook accounts are what people what themselves to be, not what they're really like. Facebook is about as similar to real society as the moon is to the sun. Only a retard would look at them and go "omg, there like, the exact same!"

err.... that's why I don't like social networking... people tend to snoop. I don't think you should be doing that. I'm sure there is other, more educational and beneficial "research" out there to be done.

Try learning these things by actually talking to them and getting to know them. If you want to know details about them, you must want to be their friend. Better start doing it quick though, before people start thinking you're a stalker and you lose the friends you already have.
