This used to be a place where you could come and get genuine, thought through, well intended answers. Yeah there would be the asshole or troll here and there bit that was less often. Or is it just me noticing this?
Having been there for years I can assure you that right now it's high quality content on here. There are some interesting posts and a decent amount of people giving genuine advice.
What I usually do when there are too many posts that I d not adhere with is I take a break and come back some weeks, some months, and sometimes some years later.
I try to give advice when I can, I do believe in “ask a stupid question get a stupid answer” though.

Really I think it moves in waves. Sometimes the site is hopping sometimes it’s not
I’ll write my ass off on here for a week and then I’ll have breaks of just goofing off. Maybe it’s the moon
People often think my questions are troll but they're 100 genuine so it annoys me when people are rude to me. If someone is an asshole to me I'll be an asshole right back.
You'll get honest, humiliated answers from me because there are trolls, the bottom line is I don't think they're funny.
I give genuine answers. Just got to waddle through puddle sized pools of asshole..
