I'm at my boyfriend's place with his family. They have a Christmas tradition of gathering around in the morning and eating pizza and rainbow cookies for breakfast while taking turns opening gifts. It's a fun way to spend time with everyone. Everyone will be ready to start soon.

I work at Target and the same thing happens with overnight shifts. We come in at 1AM and there's no one to open the employee entrance door. Crap like that is one of the reasons I don't do overnight anymore. XD

That's were I work haha. Its ridiculous! I waited as long as I could before it would start affecting me. Cant get sick now. That really pissed me off. Pressed that stupid doorbell like 50 times. Youf target have that 2? Haha yea the 2 am people at my location seem to have to wait thd longest

I've worked at two Target stores and done backup at a few locations. Seems like no matter what store, nobody likes to sign into the dang phone app on their Zebra devices to pick up a simple call. XD

I had a talk with my manager, turns out I wasnt supposed to be scheduled. No one was. Seems I was the only one who got put back on the schedule and who did not receive the email stating night staff isnt working. He seemed pissed about it to. Wow that's insane. Thankfully my zebra doesnt have that feature. Ice seen the phone ones but it's like nope not my job Haha.
Shame you had that problem though, cant blame em really though

You're lucky you don't have to bother with that app. At my Target it's a requirement to answer the phone app when someone calls for our department. Most stores are going to install it in all their zebras soon of they haven't done it already. But anyway, I hope Target is treating you well. That place is annoying, but I love working there.

I'm honestly surprised Target didn't fire me the first couple of years I worked there. I thinking about it and Leaving before the store opened wasn't my first offense. I was an angry, foul mouthed, emo asshole and would leave regular shifts early with my middle finger in the air thinking I was some edgy badass. XDComment Hidden ( show )
