Speacada english

I have read many of the questions and comments on this site. And what is driving me crazy is that, you people don't know how to write in an intelligent and clear manner. Mind you, I am not an English teacher. But come on. Is it normal to expect proper grammar?

IMO those who don't bother to proof read, check spelling and grammar when posting are lazy, ignorant or illiterate. I don't understand why someone would want to present themselves as being lazy, ignorant or illiterate. Spell checkers aren't that hard to use and even if English isn't one's first language, there are free translation programs all over the web.
If you are honestly seeking help and advice, why wouldn't you want to make it easy for those you are seeking help from to understand your post?

Privileged? My lady, I will have you know that I am not privileged. I am what most would call dirt poor. I have been poor all my life. I have never gone to college. I simply can't afford to. I live hand to mouth. I simply believe that a person who has gone thru high school should be able to write a sentence. It is not overly complicated. Now if you have a learning disability, or are developmentally challenged that's one thing. But I find it hard to believe there are that many developmentally challenged people on this site. And as for the spelling the fields into which we all type have spell check, which I use all the time, as I am a very bad speller. But still there are atrociously misspelled words all over this site.

Yes, it's privileged. Money is the not the only thing at play here. Actually, some families are poor enough to not even be able to send their (high school aged) kids to school, because they need them to be working full time. There are so many intersections to consider. You should be more accepting of how people type. It's honestly so unimportant. I gaurantee 90% of the time you actually understand what these people are saying, you just choose to ride your grammatical high horse. Get over it.

HA, HA, HA. Ok, I would like for you to tell me your definition of privilege. And what exactly makes me privileged. That way when I tell you the story of my life you will feel about yourself exactly how I feel about you.

Yes those who wrote in a way I could read, I understood them 100% of the time. Those who wrote in broken English, or whatever it's called. I understood them maybe 50% of the time. All I was asking for was people to use spell check and try to compose their sentences in a legible fashion.

By the way it is inappropriate to judge someone you hardly know in such a fashion.I made no assumptions as to their educational level, you did that. No assumptions as to their economic situation, you did that.

So when you give me all your examples of why I'm privileged. I will give you my examples as to why I think you don't know what your talking about.

And I would like to mention one other thing, what you are basically saying is that everyone has the right to say what they want, and how they want to say it....EXCEPT ME! You are a hypocrite.

Don't hide from the truth. Lay it on me. Let's hear why I'm privileged. Because I pretty sure your mistaken.

The last time I checked people didn't have to be intelligent to be here, nor did anyone need to be on point with their grammar. In many ways, I see this being the single, most unique char that defines IIN. A place where people don't need to fit any stereotypes or whatever it is what people expect them to be (in this case being somewhat real?)

idk maybe it's just me cuz sometimes it does get annoying (no seriously, it does)
