how bad is it to go around with your family and go store to store stealing things? in my family stealing from stores is so acceptable..? its like we have no choice, so its o.k
Jeez kid, you OK? This is the first story on this site to bring tears to my eyes and I don't think I need to answer your question, because I'm figuring the only reason you've posted it is you know the answer already. But, hey, you've got a family at least and that's no small thing. I can't tell you what to do about this stealing situation: you know your family, I don't. I can tell you what I'd do to get myself out of the stealing: I'd fake a sudden phobia of it, fake panic attacks. There's no arguing with a phobia. That's just me though. And I wouldn't feel guilty about not doing my bit to keep the family fed if doing my bit meant abusing my morals, but again that's just me. You know yourself, you know your family and you are the only one who can work this out, but try to find someone in real life you can talk to just for support, OK? Someone who will give you space just to talk and not go running straight to the cops. And I'll be thinking of you.
ye, its not normal. the fact that it is against the law should be a pretty clear indication lol. i would try to stop, if you are having financial difficulties there are other ways around it...ones that are legal... i certainly dont blame you though, your family have not led you in the right direction.
If you keep stealing, you will eventually get caught. Once you are caught, u will have to face the consequences. So please stop stealing for your own good
I steal all the time, alone though. It's not normal to steal with your family
Stealing is not acceptable. Unless perhaps you're povery striken but other than that, you really have no excuse to be stealing. Do you really need the things that you are stealing or are they just a want? Are you all unemplyed and uneducated? I doubt it.

Definatly not normal. I recomend that you stop ASAP. Is your family poor. If so, this is probably the reason. I recomend you see a school guidance counseler. If your parents do it again even though you said you didn't want to be involved, call the police. Don't worry about getting hurt, though. Why do you think they made the Witness Protection Program? Also, think about having your parents see a shrink.
Perfectly normal. I do it all the time. Only if I hate the store owners or company though, because of their policies or meanness.
Not normal at all. Tell your parents you do not want to be part of this criminal activity. Talk with a school counselor.
