Straight girl loves gay boy band fan fiction

I'm totally straight and I don't even like boy bands. But I came across some ridiculously gay fan fiction stories about bands like One Direction and I can't stop reading them! I like reading that Zayn does Louis in the butt or Harry is everyone's little bitch. I don't even know any of their music but I like the idea of a traveling band doing each other. IIN?

    It may be outside of social norms but it's actually more normal than you think.

    A percentage of straight female fans, especially in the anime and sci-fi fanbases tend to swoon over stuff like this. Especially if it involves their favorite characters. I've even dated a few who have openly talked about this stuff over coffee.

    As for what causes it, or what draws girls to it, I guess you'd have to talk to someone who writes or reads it. I tend to stay away from fan fiction of any sort unless it's a faithful representation of the characters it represents.

    What gets people off is their own preference and therefore doesn't bother me. However I can see where many others could cringe at the thought.

    Think that would make you Uber straight. Considering its only guy on guy that turns you on.

    Normal. There are a lot of yaoi fans that read or write fanfiction about shows, bands, or actors without actually liking or knowing said shows, bands, or actors. It's nothing to worry about.

          it like what Pope Alexander said:
          “Vice is a monster of so frightful mien
          As to be hated needs but to be seen;
          Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face,
          We first endure, then pity, then embrace.”
