When I finish my tea, I feel kind of cheated considering the fact that a fair volume of it was absorbed into the tea bag. The obvious solution then, of course, is to lay it on my tongue and suck it dry. I do this at home and in public.
Is it normal?
Here's what you do: use a spoon to remove the bag from the cup. Squeeze your fingers against the bag until all the liquid is in the cup. That way you don't get cheated, but you don't have to suck the bag. That's what I do.
A British person would never drink tea with the teabag still in the cup!
Here's how to brew up...
1. Boiling (yes boiling, not just recently boiled!) water on the teabag in the cup.
2. Leave alone forabout 3-4 minutes.
3. Gently squeeze teabag against side of cup, remove it and discard.
4. Add milk and sugar to your preference.
Omg! I literally searched "I like sucking on my teabag" and this came up. My family hates it but I can't help it, it's so satisfying and I don't mind the slight bitterness because I like my tea dark. So happy I ain't the only one!
Not exactly normal, but I do it as well , on occasion. Usually I just put it on the rounded part of the spoon, wrap it with the string tightly, and then press it against the side of the mug. Then sometimes I'll suck on it. Let's just go with your username and call it eccentricly weird.
I do it too. The bag is all squeezed out and I got one last strong sip of tea.

I do that on Halo to -other- people. Not myself. Lol
What's the point of this question? I know for a fact you have never seen anyone do that, not even once in your life,. So you couldn't possibly not know that it's not normal. What is it exactly that you expect from asking something you already know the answer to? I can think of 2 possibilities:
1) Sharing an unusual habit (or thought, in the event of it being made up)
2) Expecting people to confuse the title with a reference to a sexual practice (a rather hot one, if I may say).
No, I hadn't seen anyone do it... but that's not because people don't do it, it's because I'm not always watching people at home, except your mother possibly. She does it to my hairy, hairy balls. But for everyone else, I have to go on the Internet and ask.

I think its pleasantly odd. I wouldn't call it abnormal and I think on rare occasions in the past I did do this.
I do this as well. However be careful since this will often create a tear in the bag.
