I’ve had a rough day, just been down in the dumps.
So, tell me a story about one of your pets, or any story about any animal.

my dawg was actin weird by the big porch glass slidin door thing (wall of glass going to the deck) one night
all whiny & hackles up but he acts weird all the time
if a twig falls on the roof he flips shit thinkin its a SQUIRREL (!!!) and goes nuts
theres lotsa false alarms and sometimes who the fuck knows maybe he saw a ghost
so i didnt think too much of it but i turned on the porch light and about 6 feet away (behind glass) there was a big ole fuckin black bear eatin from my my bird feeder
a copule days later i let him out in the yard and he was off like a fuckin rocket barkin and freakin out
turns out mr bear was back standin around lookin dumb when out comes mr dingo on a mission
250+ pound bear trucked right the fuck up a tree rather than tangle with the dingo and he was barkin at the base for almost an hour before he gave up
and yes i know it was the same bear cause i paintballled him off the porch a few nights before
i got red & yellow marker balls thatre real paint not the washout kind
the dingo still claims the yard as his and patrols daily
I found a lost kitten in front of my house. Some irresponsible dumbass must've abandoned the poor thing. He's crying all alone out of my house until I picked him up. Imagine being the kitten while being alone and find yourself nowhere to go to. He's honestly the most lovely kitten I've ever been with and now we live together for many months already.
Our temperamental cat is holding us hostage with poop. Her demands are that we rub and brush her for at least 30 mins straight otherwise she'll angrily poop on the sofa or my fiance's shirts if he dares to leave it on the floor.
Had this girl for 8 years, but right when my job was stressing me out and I wasnt home as much is when the pooping started and I didnt connect the dots right away. So before I realized what she wanted, we took her to the vet, doc says she's healthy. Tried feliway, didn't work.
I finally got a break from work and been petting her like crazy, she's so happy she has me back.
I came home from work one day and found a wild rabbit crouching behind the TV. Somehow, one of our cats had caught the thing, carried it home, dragged it through the cat-flap and released it. The cats were both sleeping on the bed, the rabbit seemed completely unharmed and there wasn't any fur lying around the place, so it didn't look like they'd been "playing" with it. One of the cats was a huge thirteen-pound neutered tom, and I'm sure he could have easily killed the rabbit if he wanted to.
Shortly after that, I came home to find a pigeon flying around the kitchen.
We had a Siberian husky growing up, mismatched eyes and everything. He was gorgoues. Dont think I ever saw him not happy once. You should of seen him running through the snow was magnificent. He used to play with us on the snow hill when we were kids. Loved fetch
Love huskies, grew up with some. We had one husky who was really bad about ripping the mittens off of people and playing tag with them lol.
We used to put on our winter clothes and wrestle with her cause we’d be all padded up so she couldn’t hurt us at all and it gave her the opportunity to go nuts, she loved that
Ong right! We used to to wrestle with him as well! It was great! I didnt want to mention it cause I hate being called an abuser. That dog showed no sign of distress. Loved it as much as we did I would say.
Huskies are wonderful dogs! Straight up with the mittens that's so perfect! I love it haha. I bet sometimes it was super annoying though
I would love to have another husky in my life but right now I dont have the energy to meet its energy needs. Whewfta talk about active dogs. Good for families that's for certain.
Yeah we used to have to play outside with our hands held above our heads so she couldn’t snatch them haha and it was always playful tussles, dogs love that shit
Good memories.
I have two Ovcharka sisters and a sort of poodle mix right now. Great dogs
I have a goat that climbs onto my roof and stands there all night and refuses to come down.
That's cute. I hope he liked it.
:)
Back when I had chickens, I used to buy them a once a year treat: a sheet cake from Pathmark or Shoprite on Christmas. Watching them tear at it and eat it was fun. They'd wipe their beaks in the grass and I'd be like "That's right, the world is your napkin!" XD
I have a lovely cat. I never used to really like cast because they always seemed fickle and aloof, but she loves me soo much!
When I lie down she comes up and licks my face and sits right next to my head; sometimes she gets her nose and puts it right up against my nose, or rest her face on my cheek, and other times I tilt her on her side and snuggle my face into her stomach and wrap my arm around her back as she purrs away.
My family used to have an Alaskan Husky named Blackie. In her early years, she was always escaping the yard by morning and returning later on in the day, bringing back an item she encountered during her day. It was mostly random stuff. Some of the things I remember were eating utensils, a whole roll of toilet paper, clothing, shoes, and toys. I also remember her bringing back a whole, partially cooked chicken. Another time, it was a turtle. She was trying hard to eat him, but he was unharmed because he was in a shell. My brother took him and kept him as a pet for a few years. XD
I saw a cat fucking a dog once. They both seemed to be into it too, but they both got angry when they saw me looking at them
My female dog humps my male cat. He doesnt seem to mind...but he does get mad when the dog eats his cat nip.
I heard that male cats have hooks for dicks that the lady cats can’t run off after they get in there and latch on. Fucked up shit.
Tomcats do indeed have hooks on their penis, but it's not to hold the female in place while mating. Unlike dogs, feline copulation doesn't last long.
It's believed that the hooks raking the walls of the vagina stimulate ovulation. It also explains why female cats yowl loudly when the male withdraws and often turn around and attack him.
He is a 15 year ould tuxedo cat called Mister Ellis, also known as Mister. He was born on the day of the Asian tsunami, making him 16 in December. He understands English and Gaelic.
When we adopted my cat he was 9-10 months old, from the shelter. They told us its normal for a new pet to be shy/ wary so dont force yourselves on them. So we let him explore, sniff around etc. But that same night my little tiger tabby crawled in my lap and hugged me. Like a real hug with his arms.It was so cute he was happy to have a home.
I wanted to name him Valentino but he ended up Jack.
My dog often runs at full speed and hits himself in the head and then acts like nothing happened
I had this cat, and one time I was taking a nap, and he bit me on the nose, waking me up. I got up, and realized his food dish was empty.
He also used to plop down on my jigsaw puzzles while I was working on them.
My cat Pooskie, who is now currently dubbed miss tubs, like to roll over like a dog. She will plop on the floor and just roll, demanding for belly rubs along the way. Paws in the air, roll left, belly up, meow meow, roll again.
I once had a cat that would pee on items of those who were rude to me. Don't fuck with me, my cat will pee on your stuff.
Now I just have a sweet puppy. She needs a cat. I hope to get her a kitten soon.
Me and my mate used to take our dogs down the river 3 times a week. I would knock off community college about 1pm and he would pick me up then we would grab our dogs and head down the river.
We would spend the afternoon swimming and exercising the dogs. About 5pm we would then head into town to grab some alcohol then head back down the river where we would light a campfire and sit back relaxing letting the dogs roam.
Sometimes we would night fish or cook food on the fire, but most nights we just sat by the fire, listen to music and got drunk. Was good peaceful times back then.
Whenever I come home.
my cat meets me at the door.
There's no peace until I pick her up and she purrs and licks my forehead
for several minutes.
She was a 2lb rescue.
Cleaning is the only memory she has of how to show affection.
Shes now a healthy adult.
But still remembers.
I left the 2 cats in the kitchen for like 10 minutes yesterday and they managed to knock down a big box of cat food into their water bowl and it spilled out everywhere and I came back in and they were both just burying their faces in a giant pile of cat food
This wasnt my pet this was actually a friends pet but he had a golden retriever and we were playing fetch with him. I know this is hard to believe. I once told my mom and she didnt believe this, but the dog was about 40 feet from us and I threw the stick as far as I could the dog turned to run and one side of the stick miraculously went into the dogs asshole. The dog kept running around looking for the stick. It was one of the funniest moments of my life.
