I'm short. Like about 4'5" short. On top of that, I get very scared around people who are taller than me. I am already short but when guys are about 5' 8" or taller? I want to crawl under a hole and hide...I don't want to be scared but I can't help it. I start to shake and I can't even speak...is this normal?
Im 5ft. 5in. And I have a slight fear of taller people. Thats why when im confronted by a guy 6 ft 5in I go in attack mode instantly.
Hi I'm Steven I'm 34 years old and I'm 6'11 I don't know what it means to be short because I been tall all my life but if I was 5'0 and I was standing next to myslfe I would be freaked out you small people are lucky lol yous don't need to duck through doorways or duck in cars or whear a size 17 shoe be glad of your hight god made us this way for a reazion I'm not mad about my hight I like being this tall but sometimes I hit my head on like ten doorways before I don't even know how I'm this tall my dad was olny 6'5 and my mom is 5'6 and my older brother is 6'3 lol that's how tall I was in the 2nd grade JK but just because I'm 6'11 and buff does not mean I'm a bad guy I'm rilly nice unless you piss me off well I can't say what would happen but in the end it does not matter how tall you are the next time your next to some one tall like 6'0 to 6'5 or any one who is taller than talk to them that might be nice.It could be me lol my hands are to big to be tiyping on this phone!
I'd say it's normal but you've got it to an abnormal degree?
Like I'm 5'0 and in a room full of people I don't know who are 6'0+ I'd probably try to get the fuck out of dodge. It's weird knowing everyone could take you out by pure virtue of how much larger than you they are.
I am 6'4. Are you male or female? are you done growing? Height means nothing except difficulty getting in and out of vehicles, sleeping comfortably in bed, and always being called on for help. I love dress pants and they are very hard to find unless I pay a good amount of money. The dress pants thing had nothing to do with this, I just felt like saying it though.
I am a female and 18. My dad's side of the family skips a generation and therefore, I am short. I am done growing and I am very scared...I know there are nice people....but I was teased a lot for how short I am....it kind of got to me, even though I have grown up. I can't really help it.
I'm only 5'2 but my fiance and his friends are around 5"11 to 6'4 so I understand your struggles. I feel like I'm surrounded by trees unless I walk in the front of them.
I can understand where you're coming from. I'm 5'7 and most of my friends are 6'0 or taller. I feel awkward being short, but what you describe is fear, which I don't think is necessarily normal. I think you have to realize that they're not going to hurt you, they're merely people like you and I. Work on talking to them and you'll see that.
