That i hear voices in my head

I always hear voices in my head. These are always voices of people I know and they never say to do anything bad, should I be worried

      • I look after mentally challenged people who are incapable of being by themselves or are a danger to others. :)

Everyone has an inner dialogue. Some might be more clear and more realistic, such as the case with yours. Some people learn to deal with them and accept them. If you can't accept or manage them and they bother you, I suggest you get help. Otherwise, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

That is kinda normal, depending on the loudness and persistance of the voices. (I may just be saying this because I hear voices sometimes too). I hear my name called sometimes, have you had this happen with you?

On another note, some say this is a precursor to mental illness, so watch out I guess, heheeh.

I tend to think there might be a spiritual dimension to it, like a guide calling you to pay attention, be aware, or to snap out of a compulsive reverie. That isn't very 'scientific' of course, so feel free to pursue a more grounded answer as well.
