The cat post

I don't know if any of you remember a while ago I posted about a cat. A cat that was running round that was so thin it was nearly dead probably. Well I fed it, I went to it twice a day, it was scared very scared and living in an old barn. I brought it up to the house garage I couldn't take it in the house cause we have dogs. And I wanted this to be its home. So I locked it in the garage for a couple of weeks, kept feeding it and would stay with it for hours on end. It put weight on, and eventually I opened the door, I'd sometimes see it in the field or watching birds but mainly it stayed inside.
It's now in the house, a much warmer place. Before it came in permanent I'd bring it in for an hour each night, the dogs saw it but I didn't let it go just in case.

The garage door was left open through the day so it could do as it pleased then one day it came back into the house on its own accord and had a wander around, it now sleeps in its own little room where we keep coats, it doesn't have a door so it can come into the main house whenever, but it has to pass the dogs and it hasn't done it on its own. If I'm in at night I'll bring it through to me and play with her, but she sleeps all day and I'm going out tonight and I bet she just stays in her bed or sat on the side, she can go out when she wants but I just can't help but feel maybe something is wrong or that she is so bored :(
Anyone know about cats ?

Aw, that's really sweet. I remember your other post. It sounds like she's doing well. So if she's in her room, does she have to pass the dogs to get outside? I wasn't sure.
It sounds fine though, I wouldn't worry. if you're not around, there isn't much you can do anyway.
But maybe, you could try and acclimatise the animals to each other a bit more, when you're around of course, so that you can trust the dogs probably won't go for her when you're not around?
I don't really know, just wanted to comment cos I like cats.

She doesn't have to pass the dogs to get out, I open the door every so often, sometimes she goes out others and most times she looks, walks back in. Her bed and feed etc is on a counter not the kitchen counter but in a little room, so she jumps up out of harms way.
I have introduced her to the dogs, I don't think they'll ever like each other, she runs and stops and hisses and tries to claw them, they bark sometimes, I tell them no. But I don't know what's happened to her before I got her, abused obviously. Because she was so scared.
She must just be so bored on her own all the time.
She isn't in harms way with the dogs, they're old and she's too fast.

Make it wear a chain that states "I love dawgs". Then everytime she walks in the one dog will twerk on her left side while the other dog beatboxes.
