When someone calls you, and it's someone you know, how do you usually start the call?. ex. hello, sup, etc.
I'm not from an english speaking country so i wanted to know, what native english speaker say in this situation.
When my last boyfriend Jack would call,I'd answer by saying "Jack Attack!" He really liked that for some reason.

I would advise you to change that. There are numerous companies who will record your "yes"; append it to a question about your agreeing to pay for some service, and then it will cost you. This is a common scam for 900 number phone services where you pay though your phone bill.
I just normally use: Hello if I answer at all (I mostly let calls go to the answering machine or message system).
If I know who it is, “Hi, how are you?”
If I don’t know “Hi, who is this sorry?”
I usually say "Hello", but if it's someone I know I may say "yeah", or "what's up".
If it's my best friend, I'd often joke and say "You again?", "Bro, I'm shitting/ other equally inappropriate thing" or just "Que passa pendejo?". He'd respond in equally amusing ways.
Usually ppl say hello but if it's someone i know well I will answer by saying their full name sarcastically
