Don't you sometimes feel really weird, when one of your friends; or parents know what kind of music you listen to.? Personally I listen to Nightcore, and a lot of Anime theme songs. (Calvin Harris, Mr.SuicideSheep, ETC). Because one time i downloaded this new song by Ghost town and for some reason it was set as a ringtone (-.-) and my phone started ringing in school, and everyone looked around and all you heard was "I'm a disaster i'm a f*ckin mess!!" i nearly peed in my pants, i was so glad everyone didn't know it was me. I'm not ashamed of what music i listen to because to me Music is Music but it relates to something that's part of you, but sometimes i can be awkward because parents like for an example my mom heard me listening to this song (Sarcasm Nightcore, you guys should check it out if you listen to that kind of stuff) and my mom was like "are you okay? anything happen lately" because you know how parents go with worrying thing. and then you have the friends that love to listen to music on YOUR phone,and your just like NOO!! but its already too late. Sometimes it is awkward but it doesn't bother me all the time. Is it normal? Leave your Opinion in the comments, and feel free to leave what you think i should write about next. :)

    Our tastes in music, clothing, lifestyles - can be embarrassing when not in "approval" with the "social norm" - mainstream. As we get older (cause no one gets younger) tastes change - move in different directions or just mature.

    I dont listen to or look for trance music as much these days, but regardless of genre music is like time travel. Not the future but, the past.

    Haha, I remember when I got into joy division, the smiths and Radiohead around the same time, my mum got genuinely worried for me XD

    Ontop of my facination for bands like Radiohead, Interpol, and the Shins, i have a weird obsession with cheesey 80s one hit wonders like Heat of the Moment, Safety Dance, what is love, take on me, doin the butt, ect. Most people think im crazy but that dosent bother me. I will still blast Never gonna give you up out my car any day.

    Nah my parents (dad mostly) are who got me into the weird music that I like lol... Although my mom seems to be annoyed by the 80s music that I like

    I don't get how nightcore is a thing, isn't it just songs sped up? But I do like some of it, my favorite is the nightcore version of Bananaphone.
