Years ago, I created a character online so I could get some info on my ex-boyfriend, who i thought was cheating on me at the time. Turns out he was. So the character came in handy. I dumped him and moved on. However, I didn't move on from my character...

Ten years later, I still have this character... though now it's not just an e-mail account. I have pretty much created a whole new person... a new identity. Birth date, look, details, etc.

I even made a Facebook account for this "person." Sometimes I talk back and forth with her, as if she's real. That way, people will think I've got more friends, and that I'm more popular, lol. She even helps me out in certain situations.

Is this totally crazy? Am I abnormal? Maybe borderline schitzo?

    I do the same thing. As a matter of fact, this is the "other" me right now. I use this profile to say rude, opinionated, sometimes perverted things I cannot say in the real world. We would be schizo if we could not do this.

    Interesting. Gives you opportunity to step outside yourself. I like this. Once you keep it in check you'll be fine. Life is packed with contradictions and even sometimes our opinions can't be fully explained when they're 'gut feelings'.

    it can seem to make things easy right now but it can consume u and u no longer r sensitive 2 ppl and their emotions and u will lose ppl i advise leaving the person behind and coming clean 2 ppl or if u rather legally change ur name move and forget about everyone u know and begin a new life
