The shadow lives!

About two years ago I developed a very strange hobby. I like to go out late at night, dressed in dark clothing, and follow young women. I do not approach them and I would never harm them. I just follow them for a few blocks. What gets me off is if they notice me. Then I'll just melt into a crowd and disappear. I've never followed the same woman twice. What I get out of this I am not sure. But I love that feeling of being a complete mystery. Is this normal?

You should be aware that more and more young women are carrying fire arms and your intentions could be misinterpreted quite easily.

I once followed a woman out of a grocery store to her car. Because of coincidence, I was parked next to her. She almost shot me.

It's definitely not normal. That's just weird. Find a different hobby. Chances are you're gonna end up in trouble or dead if you keep that shit up.

    True story:

I lived in the dorms at my first college, and some guy decided that it would be fucking hilarious to scare girls by blasting the soundtrack to Halloween out his dorm room window whilst standing in the parking lot wearing a Michael Meyer's mask...some girl called the cops in tears, and he ending up getting both pepper sprayed and tazed...it WAS fucking hilarious.

I absolutely love this guy, my role model. OP, tell the truth, is it you?

I would think not. I can understand how it would be fun to follow and scare people, but if you're getting off on it, it can be quite dangerous for you AND her.

Also, what if the cops stop you and they say they've been watching you stalk a girl? You shouldn't.

Yeah, that sounds like an activity most humans do.

Melting into a crowd is a good military evasion skill. But wanting to be noticed is creepy. You are setting yourself up as bait for stalkers that kill other stalkers just for a bit of a challenge.

In all likelihood, stalking anyone like you have would be perceived as at least somewhat threatening, if not terrifying - regardless of your intentions or your perception that you are being mysterious

Are you certain you would never harm these young women? Wouldn't their emotional distress from being stalked by a stranger at night be considered "harm"?
