There should be

There should be a serious push to get people in the west to lose weight. Its not ok or normal to be fat. Its shameful. Why do we think its ok to be this way?

"The whole point of this country is if you want to eat garbage, balloon up to 600lbs and die of a heart attack at 43 you can! You are free to do so. To me, that's beautiful."

  • I aint even joking it was my wife who got bullied. The girls at work hated her because she was really into fitness and looked like a instagram model. They felt offended that she dieted and worked out.

I don’t care if they want to eat themselves to death but they should cover their own healthcare costs

the problem is stress for the most part
i have worked at my job for 8 years now and i get a MAX of 3 weeks vacation and i can never take more than 1 week consecutively also i have a 3 hr round trip commute so by the time i get home its been 13 hrs of nothing but constant stress then mix irregular shifts and no time to cook

and what you end up with is someone who eats McDonalds 2-3 times a day and snakes constantly throughout the day for comfort

when you are hyper stressed food becomes a copping mechanism one i personally struggle with and will likely die from

obesity is tied directly to how overworked the people in the "west" as you call it are

    • Is it possible for you to get more physically fit? Perhaps get a treadmill, start intermittent fasting, get a gym membership? I think if you got a personal trainer you could really turn your life around and you'd be much happier and healthier. Working out is actually quite fun after the first week or so.

its really a vicious cycle you need to work hard without rest to make the money you need to live but the closer you get to ok income the the burned out you get and at some point you will end up in poor health then it will snowball

o man id love to but take 13 hr or the prime time of your day and throw them out like they never existed from like 5am to 6 pm 5 days a week

then imagine you live in a town of 3000 people where the only thing open after 6 pm is the gas station of fast food the closest gym is 50 miles away

rural America is not populated most places you think of like a gym are only open from 7 am to 3 pm if a town even has one

and people underestimate the size of the USA here in Iowa the next town is most of the time an 1 hr drive away

there a ton of things i could to but they would require me to quit my good paying job and get a local job for $7.25 an hr.

        • I live in a town of 4000 but luckily we have a gym right down the street from my house. If you are in a rural area maybe you could invest in a treadmill or a stationary bike. Then you could come home everyday and watch TV or play on your phone while you do the treadmill.

Sorry to nag you I'm always trying to come up with solutions to everything for some reason.

honestly i don't think I could after 13 hr of non stop stress i cant mentally get my self to do anything after work

at work i routinely lift 100-200 pounds wile repairing both small and large equipment so by time i get home im spent

the problem is compounded by the fact that so many years of neglect has lead to me being 500 pounds so i don't just bounce back after a nape like i did in high school

and im not looking for pity or sympathy I'm only telling you this to maybe help you understand what's going on over here in the west in the USA more specifically

Most people in the west have access to food in the way that only royalty use to. Not to mention air conditioning, which is a modern innovation, in the grand scheme of things. But there is already a weight loss industry and work out industry. I read a book about bodybuilding, I learned a lot about losing fat, since bodybuilders try to gain weight in muscle mass. I'm not a bodybuilder, but I started going to the gym once a week on average. I don't Judge people about it, I know that fit people can also be Judged for what they eat, grilled streak or grilled chicken, and protein shakes especially.

    • Yeah I know a girl who damn near was bullied by the fat girls at her work. They'd pass out cupcakes and stuff and she would say no I diet and theyd look at her with disgust and say "you are already WAY too skinny anyway you need to relax and eat" then theyd shove their face with donuts and waddle away out of breath

Who cares? If someone wants to be a fatass, let them be a fatass. It has no affect on you or your life.
