These are not obligations
First of all, helping someone else is not an obligation. I do not understand why it's so hard to understand that kindness, helping others, etc. are not obligations. Furthermore, I don't understand why it's so hard to understand that things are earned. And once again, being human doesn't suddenly mean you've earned it. Should I be all nicey nicey and help my idiotic bitch sister just because she is a person? No, absolutely not. If you have not earned it, you don't deserve it. I will say this once again. You are not OWED respect, kindness, decency, or anything else. This mentality that we need to care for others simply because they're a person is truly what's loaded beyond belief. And whether you like it or not, not everyone deserves love. This just how things are. I am so tired of these morally superior people telling everyone else what they should and should not do.
