Thick black lines, iin?!

I'm terrified of things that are outlined with thick black lines. Some mushrooms have black gils and they freak me out or once I saw a crack and it was outlined in black and I was terrified! People with thick black eyeliner on scare me and I can't look at them. When I see those lines my heart starts to quicken and terror seizes me. It feels like I'm dying. I don't mind seeing them in art, because I understand that some people draw like that. It's kinda ironic because I draw like that and I use black allot in my art. Sometimes when I see those lines they are pulsating and if feel like they are going to hurt me or come after me. They look like worms. I'm NOT trolling, I'm dead serious! Does anyone have this phobia?

Wow, this remind me a lot of Spellbound, the Hitchcock movie where the main character suffers from a phobia of parallel lines against a white background. If I remember correctly in his case it was caused by a traumatic incident involving ski tracks in the snow, but who knows what the root of the issue could be for you. I agree with the others. It would probably be best to get proper therapy for this.

You need to lose that doctor! Get a psychologist instead. They aren't pill pushers.

I have phobias for parasites, worms and pregnancies. It's hard to look at curvy lines sometimes yes, but I's not as extreme as it seems to be for you.

I'm not an racist. I'm a really accepting person. In a sense aren't you somewhat referring to people of african decent as being "black lines"? So, wouldn't that be kinda racist? I believe in the theory that all people came from Africa and no, I'm not offended by your post.... Perhaps, it's normal for you to assume that?

I know it'll be for the best....
But I remember I told someone and they laughed at me. I don't want my bitch doctor to laugh or worse he'll say I'm mentally ill and try to have me put away.

He once tried to turn my family against me, but they already hate me anyways.

I'll have to wait awhile. I wanted to get a female doctor, but my family freaked out at me. This doctor makes me feel bad and I can't tell him the truth on anything.

I would try to find a different therapist. Sometimes you have to go through a few before you find one that "fits."

    I'm not religious!
    I guess you can say I'm atheist/buddhist.
I have a therapist already, but he's not the kind that talks about your problems. He's the that pill pushes on every little thing. I'm strongly against medication so, he basically said he can't help me on anything.

I don't think black is evil. Have you ever looked up colour meanings?!
