No, not possible, for the following reasons:
'Beings' means existences.
'Higher', is a relative direction. Relative directions do not exist in nature.
Therefore: "Higher beings" could not possibly exist.
It's a composite spheroidal massenergy object, with a companion natural satellite, that together have an eliptical orbit around the proximate star (Sol, et alia), due to curvature of space (gravitational effect) and inertia. These do not ever wander, but might appear to wobble, depending on the vantage point.
