You are probably correct, however
Biden, Scholz, even Merkel, and the other European leaders who have sold their countries out for Russian oil and other commodities have to take a lot of blame.
Sanctions could have been put in place long before the invasion if it didn't mean cutting their own arm off. Putin knew this and the western world played right into his hands.
If nothing else comes out of this, I hope a lot of countries learn that relying on another state to the point they can cripple you or your economy is stupid.
The pandemic showed how much the rest of the world was dependent on China, and this invasion shows the same about Russia.
If you own the good games or toys that everybody wants to play with, they'll put up with a lot of your crap before making you mad and getting cut off.
One of my favorite Trump moments he brought Merkel a white flag and handed it to her she said "whats this?.." he said "this is for your surrender to russia." 😂😂
But yeah some people are happy that this will atleast bring some nationalism back to europe again since the global economy has gotten shook up. Every country will have to figure this out themselves how they will replace what russia gave them. This is the issue with not being self sufficient and a problem with globalism.
They'll forget it six months after the conflict ends, no matter what the out come is.
It's all about the money and who can supply what people need for the lowest price. They'll make a deal with the devil if it lines their pockets or they can get it for a little less.
The global economy would be a great idea if everybody/country was happy with what they have and where they are in world standing, but I don't think that's going to happen or is possible.
