Those of you that

Tonite I went to the liquor store across the street. It was 5 minutes before 9 pm. That time of the evening it's about dark enough that to see and be seen theres a reason why vehicles have that little switch labeled "HEADLIGHTS". THE IDIOT DRIVING THE CAR must have been new to that one and didnt seem to know where that switch is in that car. Now, yes I usually do go to crossing lights since I am legally blind. To me I couldnt hear any vehicles, so across the street I go and wouldnt you know, the idiot driving the car minus lights on of any kind to illuminate the vehicles exterior to let somebody know "here comes another one." I can see a vehicle coming my way about the 75 feet mark. So since so many of us actually cannot see far enough to save our life, and maybe yours, drivers would YOU PLEASE TRY TO REMEMBER YOUR HEADLIGHTS. It DOES NOT make you a "cool" driver. It makes you an irresponsible driver that's going to ruin a or some lives because you want to see how far you can get away with driving with no lights. It is very frustraring that people want to yell at me. Just please be the better person, turn on your lights. You probably dont know the story of all those around you. Driver might hit and kill somebody, then the driver tries to say "well they didnt look where they were going." When actually it could be someone like myself that can see, but not all that great. It's bad enough that I can no longer drive. You dont have your lights on I take 2 or 3 more steps and suddenly I see you and you see me. It's to late, I'm flying thru the air land in an intersection, and you driver were startled and you panicked and ran over a young couple that just got married. Just please turn on the damn headlights.

It may be that the thought to turn on their headlights literally didn't cross their mind. I have pretty decent night vision and a lot of the time I won't even think to turn on my headlights unless it's pitch black outside or I see a majority of other cars have theirs turned on
