Thoughts on this scenario? you're sitting on a bus, it's a 15 minute ride

You're sitting on a bus, it's a 15 minute ride. You have a medical condition which makes it impossible to stand up for 5 minutes straight. You'd most likely buckle at the legs and pass out.

A pregnant woman gets on the next stop when there are 10 minutes left. All the seats are taken. She asks someone to give up their seat for her, you don't say a word. No one does but you're the youngest despite having a serious invisible medical condition so you appear the most able when you're probably the least able of all. What do you do?

    Those kinds of things are what sucks when you have invisible conditions. It would be nice if you got a special card you can show people or a pin to wear on the bus that says you need to sit... Especially since everyone aren't comfortable talking to a stranger especially to reveal something like that. I don't know what i'd do, probably nothing because I wouldn't be comfortable speaking up and if I wouldn't be able to stand that would be that. I have been in that situation temporarily before as i've had really bad shin splints and needed to sit.
    Public transport sucks and it should be easier to get a drivers license, financially. Especially when you have conditions of various kinds like that which massively complicates using public transport.

    Maybe my wifes tough but she was running around up until labor. I had to tell her to chill out.

    None of those rude people sitting down had the right to judge you - screw them. I agree that you should see if your city offers badges for invisible disabilities, I know London does.

    When I used to be on crutches I was shocked at how many times I had to ask for a train seat even though the whole carriage could obviously see me. Some people have no manners.

    I've worked with alot of pregnant women. It makes it able so I don't give a fuck anymore. Standing won't kill her.
