Time is it normal had an android app?

I don't know about you guys but sometimes I find myself coming to this site using my smartphone more often than not. Heck, I'm even typing this post of a friggin phone but the thing is it's an Android phone. I realized sometime ago that this site already had an iPhone app so I can't help but think, is it time we had an Android app? would it matter to you?

  • It would be a whole lot easier when trying to post while using smart phones.

Android as a project may be open-source, but the stuff that developers and device manufacturers put on it may not necessarily be completely open-source (particularly the apps - some may use open-source components under a permissive license and release their app as proprietary, while others can be completely open-source [e.g. F-Droid]).

Huh. I don't see myself using this site on my phone. Mostly come here when I'm bored, don't know how long I'll stick around -- even this site is boring when you're bored. Which makes me think I should try it when I'm actually interested. It'd probably be tons more enjoyable. But I'm rambling on about nothing. Sorry!

Anyway, I didn't know it had an iPhone app, but seeing how it does, I think it should have an Android app as well. It wouldn't matter to me either way, but it should have it if it'll make it easier for some users to navigate this site on their phone.

As long as they worked out the kinks that are present in the iPhone app. (I am using it as I type this! Woot Woot!)

If they can't be bothered to maintain the site itself, I don't see apps happening.
