Tips on astral projection?

Hi, recently I've been trying to do Astral Projection. This post is for people who know what it is by the way. Anyway, I can't even seem to reach sleep paralysis. I have, but involuntary, after waking up, and going back to sleep, then waking up again. I have not been able to do it voluntary.

I have also been trying to Astral Project. And as I said, can't even reach voluntary Sleep Paralysis. Is it because I'm not patient enough?

I would like some techniques, from users on here who've done it before. Also, if you want, it'd be really cool if you shared your experiences with it.

Thanks!

I will comment some advice. 1

I teleport all over the place. But i can't always control it fully... I ended up teleporting into a manure pile 6 feet deep earlier today

I read somewhere what you do is lift your arm up when you go to bed so when you start to drift off your arm falls and you wake up. So you become aware when you are falling asleep when you start to drift off. Google it I'm sure there are more details.

    • Ah, yes, I remember some guy talking about that on YouTube. Thing is, I don't think I have a problem staying awake. Rather, falling asleep. I have insomnia.

Do you know how to lucid dream? I heard you should start off with that then get into astral projection. Heard it makes it easier. I'd try it that way if you can't figure out how to astral project.

The only way I've gotten to sleep paralysis was while having insomnia.

    • I've tried the WILD method. I can't seem to fall into it voluntary. Only involuntary when I wake up.

Why would you want to do that? Sounds like a pretty random thing that you'd want to do, I've never even thought about it. I didn't even know that was possible anyway.

It has a lot to do with calming your body and proper breathing and meditation techniques
